FOR PARENTS

“Never before in the history of telecommunications media in the United States has so much indecent (and obscene) material been so easily accessible by so many minors in so many American homes with so few restrictions.”
 – U.S. Department of Justice

What could possibly be more challenging than growing up in such a sex crazed age, where one can have such easy access to so many destructive things?  Perhaps the only thing more challenging is parenting someone during this age.  Yet, sadly, according to one survey, as many as 75% of parents have not talked to their children about the dangers of pornography

.We are living during a time where children must be protected from not only pornography but cyber bullying, sexting, cyber predators, giving out private information, social media posts that will haunt them later in life, and many other dangers.

It is a tragedy that many children have already fallen prey to such dangers.  But the good news is, there are many who have overcome and have been set free.  There are also many who have been protected from such dangers.  It is never too early or too late to protect your child.  Ultimately, the choice will be theirs,  but let's make sure we are doing everything in our power to help them choose correctly.  *
